This is one form of the dissemination of our eTwinning project GREEN KIDS IN GREEN SCHOOLS. The project was implemented in the school year 2022/2023. A total of 20 students of the 4th grade of Dr. Branimir Marković Primary School in Ravna Gora, Croatia participated in the project, along with their English teacher Andrijana Simčić.
A number of 20 partner schools from all over Europe participated in the project. A wide variety of interesting project activities were carried out, such as drawing ideas for the project logo, creating eco Christmas decorations from natural materials that were used to decorate the school Christmas tree, creating part of our project's logo from plastic caps, planting a seedling next to the source of drinking water in front of the school, analysis of a sample of drinking water from the source in front of the school, promotion of "green" messages in English and Croatian on Earth Day, creation of a common multilingual dictionary with "green" terms, etc. February 2023 it was dedicated to our Turkish friends who were affected by a strong earthquake. All the other students and teachers in the project came up with messages and created drawings that we sent them to support our Turkish friends and let them know that they are not alone. In May 2023. 4th grade students participated in an online meeting with Greek and Turkish schools and communicated on their own in the English language. In June 2023, the final online meeting of all teachers who participated in the project was held.
In the project, great attention was paid to e-security. At the beginning of the project, the students were familiarized with the rules of conduct on the project's TwinSpace, and the parents of our students signed consents regarding their child's participation in the project and the publication of photos and other materials on the web and other media. . In the final phase of the project, the evaluation of teachers and students was carried out and an extensive analysis of their answers was made. At the very end of the project, each student and teacher was awarded with a certificate from the teachers founders for their participation in the project.
